As a reputable breeder, I fully understand just how important it is for all breeders to be transparent about our facilities as well as for buyers to be able to see the living conditions/environment their puppies will be raised in and I love sharing my setup with my buyers. They always appreciate the dedication and investment I’ve put in to breeding the most ethical way possible. All litters are born and raised until about 3 weeks old right in my living room, bedroom or laundry room in their birthing box. Transitioning into the 4-8 week stretch with us puppies get to additionally spend some time in both our preschool facility as well as outdoor “recess” time in the yard weather permitting so they can start working on potty training. Our preschool facility allows them the room and freedom they need to romp, explore & play than that of their small birthing box as well as a dedicated space for all our training & temperament testing, picture sessions etc to take place. For our preschool & training facility, I have spared no expense for our dogs, and designed & had built a lovely $30,000 luxury facility with full electrical, heating/cooling, HEPA air filtration system, floor to ceiling FRP and sunken drain system for complete and thorough sanitation between litters. The building has large open puppy playgrounds for our bigger puppies to provide them the room they need to play, explore and get their energy out as well as some individual privacy stalls for our stud service clients that board with us and our nursing mama’s who crave more privacy and a quiet, peaceful place to nurse. All privacy stalls and our puppy playgrounds have doggie doors that lead to their own private turfed outdoor yard which also helps us give the pups a good headstart on potty training and dog door exposure as many families use one. It is equipped with a full video monitoring system throughout so if we must leave the house for groceries, doctors appointments etc we can see what is happening at all times live which was important to us. This building is complete with a second story loft for me to be able to spend the night in there if needed, additional space for puppies, training sessions, photo station or storage. I designed the facility with lots of windows in mind as I love natural light and it’s truly my second little home 6 months of the year while I have litters and also dogs love sunning themselves in natural light so it’s a double win. It’s cheery and bright and I just love it. A clean, beautiful and professional facility was very important to us and we are proud to have invested in such a nice dedicated area for our babies. I’ve attached pictures of our preschool for everyone to see. Both our home and our preschool have been thoroughly inspected and certified by the AKC to exceed all necessary record keeping, health, wellbeing and cleanliness standards for raising puppies.
