*Our 2024 service dog donation waitlist is now open! We will select 10 candidates to receive a donated puppy in 2024*
Every year we donate pups to various charity organizations and also to private individuals in desperate need of a service dog. Every year we focus on a certain group for highest priority (shortest wait time) This year, we would like to offer donated pups to the following groups at the highest priority level:
- Children with disabilities in need of a service dog with approved DD budget to cover service training of donated dog.
- Disabled veterans in need of a service dog with approved DD budget to cover service training of donated dog.
We also do always accept applicants in need of a service dog outside of the highest priority applicants listed above. If you or someone you know is in desperate need of a service dog to assist in mobility, service tasks or alerting tasks directly related to ones disability and are unable to afford one please reach out. We understand not all disabilities are physical ones or even fully diagnosed/understood and don’t want to leave anyone out that is in true need but to be on our highest priority we do like to see a doctor’s diagnosis, letter of necessity from physician to have a service dog trained to perform a specific task and ideally an approved budget from Medicare, Medicaid or private health insurance with enough funds to cover the training expense. We are very excited to help even more families in 2024!
Link to our application can be found below, please be as detailed as you can be as well as please be sure to mention you are applying for the service donation waitlist as we use the same application for both buyers and potential donees. This helps us keep the applicants separate.
